About Me

My name is Obianuju Juliet Bushi and I am the Founder of Canahari Multidisciplinary Summer Programs (CMSP). I moved to Canada in 2004 as an international student and have since completed both an undergraduate degree and a master's degree at the University of Regina. I am currently a Sessional Lecturer III at First Nations University of Regina (Department of Indigenous Education, Health and Social Work), a teacher educator, and a Ph.D. candidate in Curriculum and Instruction in the Faculty of Education also at the University of Regina. Over the years, I have worked with various Institutions to provide transcultural education to International students, Blacks, and People of Colour, (BIPOC) and Indigenous people.  In 2020, I am partnering with the University of Regina's EYES camp, and other community and government agencies to extend my summer program to prospective international students. At our summer school, students will gain Canadian experience, live on campus, gain some leadership skills, learn about Canadian culture, and learn how to manage school life. We apply culturally responsive pedagogies tailored to improving self-awareness and academic success. As an educator, I have worked with various Universities in Canada to provide STEM, Arts, Social and Political science programs. This is a great opportunity for your child to succeed in school abroad. For more information or to contact me, simply fill out the form below and I will respond within 24 hours.
